Terms of Service

LongboxSync is a hosted tool for comic sellers. It imports inventory from sources such as ComicBase, CLZ, HipComic and file uploads, helps you identify, price and enrich it, and lists and keeps it in sync on the marketplaces you connect, such as Shopify. Features vary by plan and may change over time.

• You must provide a valid email address and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You must be legally able to enter into these terms, and if you use LongboxSync for a business, you accept them on that business's behalf.
• Tell us promptly at support@longboxsync.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

LongboxSync is offered as a monthly subscription, billed in US dollars through Stripe. Current plans are Starter ($29.99/month), Professional ($99.99/month) and Enterprise ($299.99/month). Each plan has the usage limits shown on our pricing page, including item, source, destination, upload and scan limits.

• New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start the trial; to keep using the service afterwards you must subscribe to a paid plan.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month and are charged to your payment method on file until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time through the Stripe billing portal linked from the billing page, or by emailing support@longboxsync.com. Your data is kept after cancellation (see our Privacy Policy).
• Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
• If a payment fails, your access to paid features may be limited until it is resolved.
• We may change prices or plan limits. Price changes apply from your next billing period after we give you notice.
• Prices do not include any taxes that may apply.

• Marketplace accounts. You are responsible for the marketplace and source accounts you connect, for complying with their terms and policies, and for any fees they charge you.
• Your listings. You are responsible for what LongboxSync lists, updates or removes on your behalf, including titles, descriptions, condition, grades, prices and quantities. Review your listings; automated pricing, identification and matching can be wrong.
• Rights to your content. You must have the rights to all data and images you upload or publish through LongboxSync, including any licence required to use cover images commercially.
• Lawful use. You may not use the service to sell counterfeit or illegal goods, infringe anyone's rights, send spam, or break the law.
• No abuse. You may not attempt to access other users' data, probe or disrupt the service, exceed rate limits deliberately, or resell the service without our written permission.

You keep ownership of the inventory data and images you provide. You give us permission to store, process and transmit them as needed to run the service for you — for example to send listings to the marketplaces you connect and to look up identification and pricing data. Our use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

LongboxSync works with services we do not control, including marketplaces, inventory sources, payment, identification and pricing providers. Their availability, data and behaviour are outside our control, they may change or stop working with LongboxSync, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

We work to keep LongboxSync running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features, and may suspend the service for maintenance or security.

You may stop using LongboxSync and cancel your subscription at any time, and you may ask us to delete your account by emailing support@longboxsync.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that harms us, other users or third parties. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law — survive.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that identification results, market prices, catalog data or inventory counts are accurate or complete.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, SALES OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE — INCLUDING OVERSELLING, MISPRICED OR INCORRECT LISTINGS, OR ACTIONS TAKEN BY THIRD-PARTY SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your listings, your content, your use of connected marketplaces, or your breach of these terms.

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and revise the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the service.
